There is nothing more exciting than an old photograph. It evokes memories and feelings more than anything else you have. People place more importance in their photographs than any other possession. Surveys have proved that rescuing photographs is the number one priority in a disaster after family members. But, sometimes these precious memories get damaged, or they fade or discolour. Fortunately, this can be repaired. So, we have devised a system of restoration to keep it as economical as possible. We guarantee that all restoration will be under $75 and, in fact, most will be under $50.
We have 4 categories: Minor touch ups will be $25 This would include color restoration, minor cracks and spots. More damaged photographs will be $50. This would include all of the above plus some work on faces or other difficult areas. Severely damaged photographs will be $75. This would be a very damaged photograph and may require more than one photograph to rebuild faces or repair missing areas. Some of this may go in to the impossible category, but you would be informed before any work is completed.
Impossible photographs? We'll try but it will have to be by estimate. Basically, if you think it would be a hard job, it probably is, but it will probably not cost as much as you think. Keep in mind that this is a on line business. We have no rent to cover and low overhead, so our prices are kept to a minimum.
So, how do you get it to us. You can go to the Post Office and buy a mailing envelope and send it to us. I will email the price to you, complete the work and send it back. Alternately, if you have a scanner, do a quick scan and email it to me. I will still require the original photo for restoration, but I would be able to give you a price before hand. This is probably unnecessary as I guarantee that you will not be unhappy with the price.
If you are unhappy mailing it or if it is a valuable family heirloom, we will pick it up and deliver the finished product to you. Or if you wish, you can drop it off at your convenience. Please call or email and we will give you instructions.
